Material of our products For our products we do without the use of animal materials and use vegan leather on microfiber basis. As the name suggests, the essence or base fabric of the material is microfiber; a type of fleece. This simulates the texture of natural leather almost perfectly and creates a grained look that looks deceptively real. The official name is "microfiber reinforced PU leather" and it is a newly developed leather replacement material. So it belongs to the artificial leather types, but it is different from the commonly used PVC and PU leather. The basic fabric here is microfiber, as already mentioned, and not an ordinary or woven fabric.

Accordingly, the fibers are finer and provide better product performance. Due to the use of superfine fiber technology, it is currently considered the best leather replacement material in many respects and also compensates for the disadvantages of genuine leather. It is more resistant to abrasion and tearing and there is no color change inherent in the material

Our vegan accessories also score high with their cold resistance, soft texture and easy cleaning. With this high quality, longer life and utility than conventional PU leather or natural leather is common. Production The way we produce always has an impact on our environment. Therefore, we strive to avoid long transport routes and can title our Velamo products Made in Europe. We control the complete process from design to final product without the use of middlemen. Therefore we can guarantee our high quality and sustainability and pass it on to our customers. Shipping As our order volume increases, so does our volume of packages and transportation. To make this as sustainable as possible, we use a recycled cardboard shipping box for all orders.

We reduce our packaging waste by placing our accessories in the box without any annoying filler, just wrapped with a tissue paper for protection.
